Hello, Blog World, and Happy Easter! After debating for almost two years on whether or not to begin a blog of my own, I've finally bit the bullet. This is definitely a new adventure for me, which I'm beyond excited to get underway with. Let me take you on a brief walk down memory lane, back to where my blog-spiration began...
At the conclusion of a long, emotional roller-coaster (house hunting is way more stressful than I could have ever imagined), Tyler and I bought our humble abode in June of 2011. We wanted a house in which we could comfortably settle in and someday start a family. Our home was
somewhat livable from the get-go but required many projects... Okay, okay. That may or may not be a bit of an exaggeration. Let's just say there was skanky wallpaper in all of the bathrooms and some
much needed TLC to make it feel like
our home. A few home improvement projects and holidays later, we are loving every moment of being in our home. Yes, there are still many, many projects we wish to conquer, but we are "Settling in on Sylvan". Thanks to the encouragement and help of the ever-so-talented Katy at
